Here at Massey Presbyterian Church we are involved in our local community and host some groups for younger children throughout the week at our main church building, located at 510 Don Buck Road, Massey and at our Riverhead Family Church, located cnr Arthur St and Great North Rd, Riverhead.
We would love to have you along to join us for mainly music, ICONZ for boys and ICONZ 4 Girlz, Cornerstone Kids, and Alphabet Art. See below for more information.
mainly music
mainly music is a fun music group for parents or primary care givers to enjoy together with their young child. Throughout the session, children develop gross and fine motor skills, language, imagination, mathematical and pre-reading skills – as well as socialise with others.
Session Times:
Tuesdays, 10a.m.
Fridays, 10a.m.
Cost:
$4 per family, per session.

Boys Brigade/ICONZ
Boys Brigade is an action, adventure, activity and values-based programme for kiwi boys. BB/ICONZ allows boys to be boys. It is about Christian faith and values, action, games, building and fixing things, competition, adventure, and heaps of fun. Along the way the boys learn life skills, confidence, team-work, values and leadership.
When: Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m.
Iconz for Girls
Iconz for girls (IFG) is a values based and fun-filled programme where girls aged 8 to 12 have adventures, learn new skills and develop friendships in a safe environment. The IFG curriculum provides the opportunity for the girls to earn spiritual, physical, adventure, community and interest badges. Plus there’s everything in between – limited only by their leaders’ imagination (and common sense). There are a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities to suit the seasons and where you live.
When: Thursdays, 6:30 p.m.
Alphabet Art
Preschool Fun in Riverhead on Wednesday mornings during school term.
A 90 minute fun learning and play session for pre-preschoolers, with their caregivers present. There is music, phonics, craft, play dough, and other playing activities, to suit the child’s age. It is also an opportunity for caregivers and children from the wider community to get together in a relaxed environment over morning tea at the end.
The venue is the Riverhead Family Church, cnr Arthur St and Great North Rd, Riverhead, and a gold coin donation is suggested.

Cornerstone Kids
Cornerstone Kids is a wonderful opportunity for you and your children to prepare for the first years of school. We cater for babies and toddlers with toys and fun and for 3.5 – 6 year olds with a school readiness programme.
The venue is the Riverhead Family Church, cnr Arthur St and Great North Rd, Riverhead.
